Spring Activities


Grade Three Interval training for mile run/walk


Grade Three students will prepare for next fall’s Connecticut Fitness mile run/ walk by participating in an interval-training program in the spring of the year. This interval program was established to improve the student’s cardiovascular endurance for the mile run/walk. Children will be grouped to participate at the end of the day thus adding an additional Physical Education class to practice their running skills. Each child will receive one additional class per week plus their regularly scheduled class. This additional class will last for three to six weeks weather permitting.
